The Chicago art scene is vibrant, inventive, and far-reaching in its influence and Robin Monique Rios, owner of 4Art Inc, is proud to be based in such a visionary environment. Over the past seven years, 4Art has enlivened the Chicago Art seen with its distinctive and diversified exhibitions of talented and dedicated artists. Robin has worked hard to create a dynamic and involved art community.
Robin has always believed in creating an interactive arena for both artists and art enthusiasts. But Robin’s hard work doesn’t end there; she continues to enhance the art community by mentoring artists in the fine nuances of today’s art world.
“I aspire to empower artists by providing support and professional development. I feel strongly that artists should possess, at the very least, the fundamentals necessary for surviving in the current art world. Artists also need to understand the importance of developing a dialogue so they can interact with and communicate their art to the public. As an artist myself, I also strive to promote a sense of community among artists as it is my strong opinion that success does not belong to just one. In the coming years I hope to continue to foster this ideal by organizing group collaborative projects and traveling group shows that will grace art centers, galleries, and museums across the globe.”
In 2005 Robin extended her hand even further by offering an internship/mentor program to educate students who were enthusiastic about starting their own career as artists and/or wanted to learn how to run their own art gallery business. In either case Robin has always been open and more then happy to share all she’s learned and experienced to those eager to learn.
Robin has created an environment that inspires Connection, Understanding, and most importantly, Appreciation of art and the artists who create it. 4Art will remain dedicated to this deeply held aspiration as it continues to thrive in its new location at the Zhou B. Art Center.
